Terms of use

These terms govern use of the InkX Tattoo website and any orders placed through it. By using the site, you agree to the conditions set out below and to any applicable South African laws and trade rules.

Using the site without confusion

This website is managed by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd for InkX Tattoo, a South African tattoo supply business in Observatory, Cape Town. The site is for lawful browsing, product enquiries, ordering and account related contact through the enquiry form on the contact page. You may not use it in any way that interferes with security, content, ordering systems or normal operation.

All product details, stock notes, range groupings and studio supply descriptions are provided for practical trade use. While care is taken with descriptions and compatibility notes, buyers remain responsible for confirming that selected items suit their intended use, studio procedures and local compliance requirements.

  • Do not copy, scrape or reuse site content without permission.
  • Do not attempt unauthorised access to ordering, dispatch or account records.
  • Do not submit false, misleading or incomplete order information.

Orders, stock and substitutions

Orders placed for tattoo inks, needles, cartridges, machines and sterile single-use supplies are subject to stock availability and order verification. Product grouping, batch mix and compatible consumable selection may be guided by the team where needed, especially for new studio setups, bulk order support and seasonal restock planning.

Where a requested item is unavailable, a practical substitution may be offered if the replacement is suitable for the intended grouping or purpose. If a substitution is not acceptable, the affected item may be removed from the order rather than delayed. Any order is only final once confirmed through the site process and accepted for dispatch.

  • Stock levels can change during the day.
  • Images and descriptions are provided as a guide to the product sold.
  • Matched items should still be checked against your own studio requirements.

Delivery across South Africa

InkX Tattoo supplies studios in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and Gqeberha, with delivery support also available for Stellenbosch, Bellville and Somerset West. Delivery times and service availability depend on the destination, dispatch load and the selected goods. Orders sent to coastal areas may need extra care in storage once received because humidity can affect packaging and consumables.

Risk in the goods passes according to the delivery terms attached to each order. The recipient must provide a correct delivery address, suitable receiving details and any access instructions needed for studio or business premises. If a parcel is returned because it could not be delivered, the cost of re dispatch may be charged where appropriate.

  • Check that the delivery address is complete and accurate.
  • Inspect parcels on arrival before storing the contents.
  • Report visible transit damage through the site contact channel.

Studio hygiene, storage and local rules

Customers are responsible for using sterile single-use supplies correctly, storing stock properly and observing the health, safety and hygiene rules that apply to tattoo studios in South Africa. Needles, cartridges, ink caps, barrier items and cleaning supplies must be handled in line with local health regulations and the procedures used in the studio.

InkX Tattoo may supply storage planning guidance and consumable grouping support, but does not provide medical advice. It remains the buyer's duty to check product suitability, expiry dates, sealed packaging and the correct use of sterile goods before use in a studio setting.

  • Keep inks, needles and cartridges stored in clean, dry conditions.
  • Separate sterile single-use items from open or used stock.
  • Follow municipal and workplace rules that apply to disposal and studio cleanliness.

Prices, payment and ownership

Prices shown on the site may change without prior notice. Any price error may be corrected before dispatch or invoicing. Payment must be completed using the methods made available at checkout or through the ordering process. The seller may hold or cancel an order where payment is not confirmed, where fraud is suspected or where the order details are incomplete.

Goods remain the property of the seller until paid for in full, unless the law says otherwise. Once an order has been accepted and packed, the buyer is responsible for ensuring that the items are suitable for the intended studio use and for any onward handling within the business.

Returns, faults and order queries

Any return, fault report or order query must be handled through the site contact channel and supported by clear details of the product, order reference and issue raised. Returns are handled in line with the applicable consumer and trade rules, and certain sealed sterile goods may not be suitable for return once opened or handled.

Where a product is found to be damaged in transit or materially incorrect, the matter will be reviewed in a practical way against the order record and the condition of the goods received. Items that have been used, altered or improperly stored may not qualify for return or replacement.

  • Keep packaging and labels until the order has been checked.
  • Do not mix returned goods with opened studio stock.
  • Raise faults promptly with supporting order details.

Content, liability and changes

All text, product groupings, layout, images, notes and trade guidance on this site belong to InkX Tattoo or its content providers unless stated otherwise. No part of the site may be copied for commercial use without written permission. The site is provided for general trade information and online ordering, and the operator does not accept liability for indirect loss, studio interruption or loss caused by misuse of products.

These terms may change from time to time. The version shown on the website at the time of use applies. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated terms apply to future browsing and ordering.
